Gmail Error Message
I updated an earlier post on "GMail and Usability" with text about this "feature" and here is the error message itself:
Server Error
Gmail is temporarily unavailable.
Cross your fingers and try again in a few minutes.
We're sorry for the inconvenience.
How do you get it?
Easy - save email as a draft and try to print it.
Works every time.
If I followed the "try again" part then I'll be stuck in an infinite loop...
Comments, Pingbacks:
stop bitching and just love that darn g-mail :)
you get something that's good and for free and you still ain't satisfied, doh...
T?? k?? t??s ir open source, tad vienīgi vari pats to visu arī izlabot.
GMail gadījum?? tas nestr??d??s.
P.S. Bet kļūdas ziņojums vienalga smieklīgs.
Mazliet vair??k par to k??pēc skat. n??kamaj?? rakst?? (kur?? drīz tikai taps)
It said error 502
"The server encountered a temporary error and could not complete your request."
please contact in 30 minutes. What is that. Is Gmail playing with us HUH!!!
Rajesh: Yes, what if they are playing with us? Then we're doomed! ;)
That all comes from our reliance on external services. Using them is OK as long as they are working. If they don't that is a problem for a lot of people
I have not noticed interruptions in GMail recently, but some things that I did notice is that del.icio.us was down a day or two ago (coming up with a new redesign) and that while GMail requires only one click to mark e-mail a spam, it takes much longer to simply delete a message.
