Lack of interoperability - how I hate it
Lack of simple interoperability between the mobile phones is bad.
All the phone numbers are in the mobile phone. But almost every time when asked to send (SMS) somebody's number I end up having to write the number down and then entering it again in the SMS text. The reason: when trying to "just send" the contact via SMS it is send as a business card and the receiving phone says "can not save the card" or something like that.
This is not nearly the first time it's happening, but frustrating nevertheless.
Note: I am using Nokia.

Well, in my Nokia phone (3510i), when you write "normal" SMS, you can insert data from contacts (name, phone) using menus (if UI language is set to Latvian, under "Iespējas" you have "Ielikt vārdu" and "Ielikt numuru"). If I'm not sure that in other end person has Nokia phone, I'm sending contacts in that way.
Also, when receiving such SMS, my phone recognizes all numbers and e-mail addresses in the body of SMS and you can easy add them to the address book using menus.
BTW, similar problem is with non-English characters. You can't send SMS in normal Latvian language from, for example, Nokia phone to Siemens phone.

with siemens it works fine, you can send the number as a plain sms :P

n7610 has a phone-wide copy-paste feature, so it's theoretically possible to copy a phone number from phone book to sms. practically, it's pain in the ass :(
