Yeee, It's my namesday today!

Latvian namesdays are a celebration similar to birthdays - one more day and one more reason to have a celebration.

There is an official calendar of names associated with each day and when it is your day, you celebrate. And your friends usually know your name, hence they will know when its your namesday. Yes, there is even a day for those who are not mentioned in the list (call that exception handling)!

It's a good feeling - something makes this day special. And I believe that USA will have some fireworks on this occasion, tonight.
