Short update on current and future events:

1. We have moved and now live in a nice house, which is just a bit smaller than where we were before. At some point I started to worry we will not find one before going to Crete. But all went well and we are happy now.

A side note: If you are looking for an accomodation in Galway, do not go with the agency "Galway Accomodation". I am surprised how they are in business at all with their attitude towards their work and clients and would not trust them my money to them. Similar conclusion also comes from other people who have had contact with them.

2. Going to Crete.
This includes a week at DERI Offsite and another week at the 2nd European Semantic Web Conference.

At least part of this time we might be without Internet connection or with better things to do than to sit in front of a computer. If you do not see many new entries for the next couple of weeks, you know why.

And hope we will have some time to spare to travel around and see this beautiful Greek island.
Now what is there to see?

Cliffs of Moher (Mohēras klintis) are an impressive place in West Ireland - with the height of nearly 200 meters and length of 8 km.

Tomēr interesanti - kā būtu jāloka 'Laacz' datīvā (kam?)

Testing local LiveJournal alias Sviesta Ciba understanding of RSS feeds.

Sagaidāmais rezultāts - ka Sviesta Ciba parāda testa mailu ar visiem linkiem un citu HTML markupu.

Problēma, kas tiek risināta - SC nesaprot RSS 1.0 feeda <content:encoded> un rāda tikai text-only saturu. Sindicētā feeda barotnes URL SC labot neļauj. Risinājums - redirektēt SC uz RSS 0.92 barotni.

Iepriekšējais tests parādījās SC, bet ar 10 stundu aizkavēšanos.
Piedevām tai reizē, kad SC šo ierakstu beidzot nolasīja, parādījās arī kļūdas ziņojums:
